Vacuum Hardening

Highest levels of precision

Using application-specific vacuum hardening techniques, we give our steels the best possible properties at the final processing stage. An optimum hardening process allows us to achieve the maximum performance characteristics that our customers demand.

The well-established know-how that we have gained over many decades allows us to carry out hardening in a vacuum of highly complex dies like car door moulds, for example, which weigh up to 6.5 t each or 7 t for tempering, annealing or nitriding.

Special heat treatments like partial tempering, for example, or special surface treatment (nitriding/oxidation) round off our range of services.
